About Roy Roy Speckle Park
Our farm, “Rob Roy” is located just a few kilometres out of Gulgong in the central west of NSW.
With years of experience in the cattle industry we take pride in the care and quality of our cattle to provide you with good sound cattle that will go on to serve you well for years to come
We are only a small stud but we strive to produce quality animals over quantity. We also participate in the Breedplan program for analysis of data and comparison.
Meet Lynne and Bruce Lewis
We have been producing beef cattle for many years.
Our journey into Speckle Park began when we attended the first sale held in Australia in 2010 and purchased one of the top priced bulls Bunderra 26T Sailor Boy a son of River Hill Traffic Jam 26T.
We continued breeding commercial stock for approximately another five years and after purchasing our first registered female LST E17 our stud began.
The Speckle Park Breed
Speckle Park are a beef breed of cattle which originated in Saskatchewan Canada.
Speckle Park cattle are early maturing, highly fertile and have impressive adaptability to all climates. They are polled, of British-bred origin, and moderate in frame size. Speckle Park have consistent high quality carcass, with high yields, high marbling, tenderness and softness of carcass. Speckle Park express tremendous hybrid vigour in a first cross.
Speckle Park cattle come in a variety of colour patterns, including speckle, leopard, white and black.
